Green Chutney, hari chutney

Green chutney is a must have condiment with all snacks Indian snacks. Samosa, pakodas, tikki chaat, Dahi bhalla, all types of cheelas and many more, Green chutney rules the day. Green chutney is good for your gut and is very nutritious.  It is very easy to prepare . A few ingredients and a grinder and this condiment is ready.

We Need
1 Cup Coriander leaves
1/4 Cup Mint leaves.
3 Green Chillies
1 Tsp Jeera
1 Tsp grated Ginger
1/2 Tsp Suger
1 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Lemon Juice/ or 2 Tbsp Raw Mango Pulp.

Here We Go
1 Wash Mint leaves, Coriander Leaves and Green Chillies. Avoid using Mint Stalks. Only use the leaves.
2. Add Mint leaves, Coriander leaves, Green Chillies, grated Ginger, sugar, salt, Jeera and 2 Tbsp raw mango pulp or lemon juice to a grinder. Make a smooth paste.
If you like Chutney a little course then blend it in a blender. Raw mango gives texture and rich colour to the Green Chutney. During mango season I prefer to use raw mango over lemon juice.

Tips:
While using For Dahi Bhallas keep the Green Chutney of thin consistency.
When using it for Sandwich Add any of these : roasted peanuts, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds to make a thick consistency. Because if the Chutney is runny it will make the bread Soggy.
